Autumn Colours

Autumn Colours

It was such a beautiful day yesterday that it seemed a shame not to head out to enjoy it. My sister and her partner were staying with us and I thought a walk would do us all good (not least as we may have been a teeny bit hungover). We headed to one of our favourite local places, Abington Park in Northampton to enjoy some fresh air.

Luke took a selection of amazing photos which really show the autumn colours to perfection. With his permission here’s a few to enjoy.

Those are gorgeous! I’m lucky to live near Kew Gardens which is gorgeous year- round but the autumn leaves always look stunning.

Gorgeous pics! We’re in spring here now in NZ, I’m loving all the green and bright blooms. Nothing like a bit of fresh air to knock a hangover on the head 😉

We are a little south of you in MK and the leaves haven’t really begun to see leaves changing that much, the odd one or two rather than trees full.

That post was from last year, we’re not quite there yet. I can’t wait until they’ve all changed, such a beautiful time of year 🙂
