How to Choose the Perfect Sunglasses
I’ve never really paid much attention to being safe in the sun. In the past I might have haphazardly slapped on some sunscreen and thrown on a cheap pair of sunglasses. Since becoming a parent, however, things have changed!
Given how much time we spend we spend outdoors, I’m constantly worrying if Finn is protected enough, and that in turn has made me think more about my own safety in the sun.
As well as protecting our skin from the sun, I also make sure that our eyes are adequately shielded from the rays. I’ve never really thought about it before, but now I’m a mother it’s so important. In the past I was happy with the cheapest sunglasses, as long as they looked good I wasn’t bothered about their rating.
Now I make sure that we all have good quality sunglasses with at least category three lenses. I have put together this infographic to make choosing the perfect sunglasses a little bit easier.
Luke recently got a new pair of sunglasses and they have made such a difference. As we spend lots of time outdoors walking, it’s important to get a pair that is right for your needs. His Oakley Jupiter Squared OO9135-29 Polarised Sunglasses, are perfect for sport and outdoor use. The lenses, as well as providing superb clarity and razor sharp vision, filters out 100% of UVA, UVB and UVC rays. The frame is designed to be comfortable for long periods, while it also actually grips better when you sweat. It is also lightweight, yet durable, making it ideal for sports use.
